Yatra Yatri was founded in 2020 by Rahul Sharma and Priya Devi, two mountain lovers born and raised in the foothills of Uttarakhand. After years guiding corporate trekkers and adventure tourists, we realized there was a gap in the market: premium yet authentic, sustainable yet profitable trekking experiences.
Today, Yatra Yatri operates year-round from our base in Dehradun, serving over 2,000 trekkers annually. We've partnered with 50+ local communities, trained 30+ mountain guides, and planted 10,000+ native trees. Our mission is simple: inspire travelers to walk the Himalayas responsibly, leaving only footprints and taking only memories.
90% of trekking revenue goes to local guides, porters, and homestay families. We believe in direct impact.
Every trek plants 5 trees and offsets carbon footprint. We're committed to leaving mountains better than we found them.
